Updating my review after the last 2 stays our cats had here. First mistake, both cats had emergency vet visits as soon as we got home to prevent hospitalisation as they were provided food that they had allergies to despite us paying for and providing our own food. Food that wasn't ours was put into our bag somehow No compensation offered on their end. We mistakenly trusted them again shortly after this only to discover on arriving home that doses of medications had been missed. Went back to enquire, and they confidently told us that the medication log has the medications marked as given. The extra pills we had left proved otherwise. They told us they would investigate and get back to us. Of course we never heard back. We used to trust these guys 100% but due to their incompetance and unprofessionalism we never can again. Convinced theyve changed hands over the past few years and have gone rapidly downhill since.

I booked two months in advance to ensure my two dogs had a private residence while I was away. The dates were entered incorrectly and they changed the room without notifying me. The only way I found out was by calling the week of the booking to confirm details. They are unorganised, unprofessional and won't be there when you need them. Do not book with this company.

I highly recommend Best Friend Boarding Kennels. They are so friendly and professional which eases my mind when leaving my senior dog who requires medication and care for anxiety. Thank you for caring for Harley off and on over the past almost 12 years.

We have been using Best Friends for a couple of years now and it's only just occurred to me that I haven't written a review yet! We have been all up and down the east coast and used close to 50 different pet resorts and this one stands out as the best. Right from the beginning they very polite, respectful and professional and they always remember the names of our dogs, we don't even need to mention anything when we walk in anymore. Our dogs are always extremely excited when we drop them off and they are happy when we pick them up which means they take great care of them. Pricing is very reasonable and I can't recommend them highly enough!
