For a long time I assumed that we couldn't afford one of the "big name" HVAC companies in the area. I was wrong. Bethke was the original installer of the furnace and A/C in the house we bought, so their stickers were all over our equipment. Instead of them I chose a smaller HVAC business near us in Sun Prairie that I thought was just as upstanding. I regret not hiring Bethke sooner! On a recent furnace repair I found Bethke to be very affordable, honest, and good to do business with. And I think they'll be our "go-to" from now on. Long story short, the smaller HVAC business I had been hiring wasn't cleaning our furnace thoroughly, and the burners were dirty as heck, causing our furnace to act weird. The other guys were going to replace our control board (circuit board). Bethke, however, just by being thorough and honest, saved us from replacing expensive parts that wouldn't have made a difference. I'm sure that boondoggle would have cost *at least* several hundred dollars. This wasn't an emergency. Bethke was available to come out for a service call within a very reasonable amount of time. Once they were here, their time on-site was pretty short, too. Very pleased customer!

Our furnace failed on Christmas Eve morning. A Bethke service technician arrived within one hour of our call and we received a precise estimate by noon. After loaning us space heaters to get us through Christmas Day, the Bethke crew showed up next day to install a new furnace prior to a plunge in temperatures and expiration of applicable tax credits at the end of the year. A great job all around.
