Another must try in the area! My mom and I did a bit of coffee shop hopping and this was one of our stops! I love the cozy vibe inside with the wood burning fireplace and the comfy seating. Very homey and the chai latte was also very good. I got a yogurt bowl as well and when I say I could eat that everyday I mean it. They have a nice variety of options to add to their house made yogurt and all of the ingredients were super fresh and very plentiful with the portions. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area!

I stopped at Big Dog Coffee and liked the cozy, welcoming feel—the coffee was tasty, and it felt like a comfortable spot to sit and relax for a while.

This place has a really nice ambiance and is a great spot for studying or taking pictures. However, it does get very busy and crowded. Unfortunately, the drinks my husband and I ordered were disappointing—I tried the frozen mochaccino and the pumpkin spice latte, and neither had much flavor. For the price, I expected better quality. There are definitely more affordable spots nearby where you can get tastier coffee.

One of the coziest and prettiest coffee places in the area! The coffee here is so delicious, maybe even the best I’ve had in pgh! Didn’t even need creamer or sugar, the flavor was perfect. The pastries were also good, with the raspberry lime scone having a lovely flavor and perfect with the coffee. Not just the food, but the vibe of this place is perfect! It’s cozy with a mix of couches and tables, perfect to study, chat, or read, plus their outside little patio has beautiful plants and is a great spot to enjoy your drink. Such a good spot to stop by!

Big Dog = awesome charming Cafe with absolutely well prepared artisanal coffees. What a cool local spot on Pittsburgh’s SouthSide that draws a local crowd and it seems like “everyone knows ur name”. We really enjoyed it first thing on a Saturday AM. Also, check out the outdoor patio for extra ZEN ☕️☕️🌈🙏
