Ugh, that guy's a rip-off! He wanted $750 upfront to fix my Rolex, then did nothing but break it after two months. Don't trust him with anything valuable; he clearly doesn't know what he's doing.

Doug is the owner of Black Forest and has many years experience with fine watches. Has serviced and polished many Rolex watches for me, I trust him and he does a good job. Go see him if you need your watch serviced or polished. Honest service, quick turn around treats people like family!

I was gifted a Rolex Datejust that belonged to my father-in-law. It hadn't been worn in years and needed some work to be done on it. I found Doug online and man oh man was I happy to find him. He reminds me of my engineer father-in-law on how he approaches his craft in watches. Doug has a wealth of knowledge and taught me so much in a short period of time about my watch, on top of fixing it and restoring it back to its original glory. Trust me when I say this, TRUST WHAT DOUG SAYS! For someone to be in business for 47 years must be doing something right! Thank you Doug!!

Took in my Rolex Date Just to have Doug authenticate it for me. I trust my jeweler but still gotta be safe than sorry. He also informed me about any repairs and updates the watch may need while he was authenticating my Rolex! Definitely a great place to go and will be back to service and repair when time is ready !

Went in last week on Tuesday to surprise my husband with restoring/re-polishing one of his favorite rings from high school I was hoping to have it as a little extra gift for Father’s Day went in to meet Doug he explained to me that it might be difficult due to the materials of the ring. I understood and expected only whatever could be done he said he would call me or let me know when it would be ready. To my surprise he sent me a text and called on Friday letting me know the ring was ready I was super excited to go and pick it up. The ring came out a lot better than I even expected he polished it and redid the black around the lettering with such detail it shows he takes pride in his work I cannot thank you enough my husband loved it we will surely be back! I should have done a before and after but wow it’s great Thank you.
