We had a leak during the cold weather and we called them. They fit us in and did a wonderful job. Everything was explained about what they were going to do. We were shown the piece of pipe that busted. They were professional and did a wonderful job on the repairs. Will definitely be using them again.

My heater decided to stop working on one of the coldest days during a winter snow storm. My home was freezing!!! I didn’t anticipate anyone being able to come the same day, as the roads were really bad with snow and ice, but I called to see if they could get me on the schedule for when the roads cleared up some. However, they sent someone the same day so my family didn’t have to suffer in a freezing house for the remainder days that the temp was in the single digits. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable.

During this winter storm my heater went out I called them and they came out! David was very helpful. My drain had frozen up and when the drain box filled it would shut off my system, he should use what to do until it thaws. And what to look for when it thaws out and what to do next time to prepare. Thanks so much David!

Sewer Line Assessment October 2025: Black Plumbing assessed the sewer line at my house out to alley, providing pictures also. I had tree roots in the line and the line was collapsing in the yard. The original line was over 60 years old, made of a mixture of a petroleum/tar-like substance mixed with wood chips, pebbles, etc. Dan completed the sewer assessment and explained everything to me in detail, which was very helpful! Replacement of line from house to alley, November 2025: they took care of it all, including notifying utility, meeting inspector, finishing the project, and cleaning up the yard.

My gas meter was hit by a truck, and after replacing the meter, the gas company had to shut off my gas due to leaks under my house. Being a field manager in the industry I normally would have done the repairs myself, but I recently had open heart surgery and was unable to. I already had an idea of how much it was going to cost and how long it would take. And with my house being close to 100 years old, I knew it was going to be expensive. So I called black plumbing to do the repairs for me. At this point I’d like to give a big shout out to Brian and his helpers. I wish I could remember their names, but there were all very friendly and very professional. They not only did the repairs $800 cheaper and 4 hours faster than I expected, but they also brought my gas line back to modern code. They also pointed out and made repairs to issues I didn’t even know about. So, I for one am very happy with their services and will be calling them again and asking for Brian if I need help with repair in the future
