Cafe Nero on the 2nd floor is the highlight of this bookshop. Excellent brew, both coffee and chocolate, highly competent and friendly baristas.

Nice book shop atmosphere. Toilets were out of order but not sure if that’s the Cafe Nero fault

Books are sent off whenever they feel like it, only when you contact them it's magically marked as dispatched a few hours later. Packaging is awful; the usual, thin and flimsy book mailers. My paperback came damaged and they tried to partial refund me rather than full. I got the full refund, only after pressing them. Avoid.

I find this bookstore much better than the Waterstone in Deansgate, while it's smaller the book selection is better. I was able to find a copy of Mordew here, and as usual I ultimately ended up grabbing a couple of more books. Their Philosophy section is pretty good, as well as their history section.

Beautiful and spacious. Very friendly staff. Possible to order things at the shop for collection later (2-4 days). Lots of stationery to meet university needs and good collection of books (academic and otherwise).
