Lively Friday night atmosphere. Good aqua frescas, tasty chips and mild salsa, good guacamole. I loved the rice and charro beans. My son devoured his tinga enchiladas...must have been good.

The best Mexican food I’ve ever had. The restaurant has a friendly, fun atmosphere, and everything is made from scratch—you can truly taste the difference. I had the enchiladas, and we shared a Margarita Christmas Tree, which was such a fun touch. The outdoor seating was also lovely. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. I very much enjoyed eating here and will be back. It was a wonderful way to kick off my 50th birthday!

Vibrant Downtown Dining with Flavors That Shine 🌮🍹 | Blanco Cocina + Cantina, Phoenix We stopped by Blanco Cocina + Cantina while exploring downtown Phoenix, just a short walk from the Footprint Center where the Phoenix Suns play. Parking was easy there’s a paid street option right in front, or a nearby parking garage offering two hours of free validated parking on E Jefferson street which is super convenient for dinner or drinks before a game. The hostess welcomed us warmly and seated us in a cozy booth by the window. The restaurant’s design is modern and stylish, filled with warm lighting, green accents and an inviting bar area that opens to the street perfect for both casual nights and lively game day vibes. We started with the Shrimp Ceviche, a refreshing and tangy mix of citrus, avocado and fresh mango easily one of the best starters I’ve had lately. The Birria Tacos with consommé were flavorful and tender, while the Asada Enchiladas came perfectly cheesy with guacamole, pico de gallo, and your choice of black or refried beans. Everything arrived hot and fresh, with classic chips and salsa to start. For drinks, the New Skinny Margarita was smooth and well-balanced, not overly sweet. The service was fast, friendly, and professional, and we loved the upbeat atmosphere with sports playing on multiple screens. Overall, Blanco Cocina + Cantina delivers great food, perfect downtown energy, and a well-run experience highly recommended whether you’re visiting Phoenix or a local looking for a solid spot near the arena. 🌵✨

The food was amazing! I had the chicken tinga bowl and it is some of the best chicken I have ever had! Literally just melts in your mouth. My friends had the chimichanga and taco salad. They were also amazing! When I'm there for spring training we will be back for sure!

Popped in here with a few friends in a weekday and sat at the bar. Loved the atmosphere and it's openness to the outside patio. The salsa was really good. I wasn't a huge fan of the chips. I like mine thinner. 😋 The sweet potato tacos were absolutely INSANELY delicious!!! I could eat those every single day. A must try and they let you mix and match tacos so you can try more than one. 😉 For sides it's not just the typical rice and beans. Oh no. I got corn which was tasty and the rice. HOLY what. It's a butter rice with peppers. Talk about take me back to my childhood. It's sooooo good!!! I cleaned my entire plate good. 🍽 Don't even get me started with the drinks. The bartenders are making magic happen. The drinks were excellent!!! This place must be a whole different kind of vibe at night. A must try and next time I'm in town I'll definitely be back!
