Don’t ever pay for the tax shield or tax identity, theft protection or the tax audit protection H&R Block will do nothing. If the IRS sends you a letter they will tell you that you owe the IRS money and then they’ll say but We’ll do your taxes again and charge you a bunch of money to do it. Almost 15 years as a customer and this is the way I’m treated. fantastic to know that this is how H&R Block handles its customers and it’s business. Will never allow anyone I know to return to any H&R Block. I will be looking into legally, getting my money for all the money that I paid for useless services that were never rendered

Honestly, I would give negative stars. My business partner insisted on using this company because of a specific tax person who works there...even though he did not complete the taxes properly last year which cost us an additional $10,000. Regardless, this tax person did the corporate taxes, and my former business partner's taxes, and completely ghosted me, yet placed an extension without my knowledge. As a result, I have tried contacting him and others who work at this office repeatedly, but no one has responded. I wanted to get my information back to have another tax professional complete my taxes, and I cannot even get a response to that! This has become a nightmare, and the IRS is no joke....do better! Update! Called the number you left under my review which is a basic customer service number.... they could not help me and hung up the phone...I am just going to report this to the tax commissioner and the IRS..... not cool!

Don Is friendly, fast and knowledgeable. He maintains a professional level as well. He's been helpful in doing my taxes and always seems to find the perks in finding credits. I'd refer him to my friends and family.

Linda Matney is a great advisor. After 40 years with H&R Block, she really knows her stuff and is very efficient. However, $600 for a process that only took an hour is dang expensive. My CPA who retired only ever charged me $150 for the same tax return service.
