I had a disappointing experience with BlueOx HVAC that I feel compelled to share. We are in the process of moving and needed a furnace service as part of our home sale, so we scheduled an $89 tune-up. Initial Visit: The technician arrived promptly but immediately began telling me that we had a leak in our blower motor. He insisted that it needed extensive cleaning and repairs. Throughout the visit, he kept pushing for us to get a new furnace, repeatedly asking when his manager could come by with a quote. Despite my clear responses that we were not interested and could not afford the $2,500 repair on the blower motor he suggested, he continued to pressure me. Second Opinion: Concerned about the technician's claims, I reached out to another HVAC service for a second opinion. They inspected the unit and confirmed that the first technician from BlueOx had not performed any necessary adjustments or cleaning. Isn’t that what I paid them $89 for? And in fact, there was no issue with the blower motor at all per his inspection. Customer Service: After the second inspection, I contacted BlueOx to express my concerns. I spoke with the receptionist, who informed me that management was unavailable but would ask them to call me the next day. It's now been a week, and I have yet to hear back. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and left me frustrated. I expected a basic tune-up as advertised, but instead faced pressure tactics and no actual service. I will not be recommending BlueOx HVAC to others.
