Updating for 2026: STILL MY TOP CHOICE FOR EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL. I’ve worked with EarlyBird Electric for several years now and across well over a dozen projects. Overall, they’ve consistently delivered high-quality electrical work, and they remain one of the companies I trust with my home. If you’re scheduling, I highly recommend asking for Garret whenever possible. Early on, Brandon installed a new ceiling fan for me after my old one failed. He was punctual, professional, and extremely thorough—the very first thing he did was open my breaker panel to verify labeling and layout before touching anything. That level of care and attention to detail immediately stood out. Later, Garret handled more complex projects, including installing a new subpanel and fully correcting the wiring to a basement bathroom heater that another company had previously miswired. He understood the issue right away, explained it clearly, and fixed it properly. That job alone demonstrated the difference between average work and true expertise. Most recently, EarlyBird installed a Level 2 EV charger inside my garage. The installation itself went well and functions exactly as expected. As with any long-term contractor relationship, there have been a few minor hiccups over the years, but Garret’s continued involvement and follow-through have made a real difference and kept things moving in the right direction. Scheduling with EarlyBird is easy—I typically book online or over text—and the technicians I’ve worked with have been prepared, communicative, and detail-oriented. They take the time to do things correctly rather than rushing through jobs. I’ve worked with many contractors, and EarlyBird remains one of the more reliable electrical companies I’ve used. With strong technical work and solid leadership from people like Garret, they’re a company I’ll continue to call for future projects.

Carl was outstanding! He did an excellent job on our issues with the kitchen outlets, as well as our bath fan. He does a great job of explaining what he's doing while he's taking care of something. He also, figured a potential issue with one of our outlets that could have become even bigger if not corrected. I highly recommend Carl and Early Bird Electric. Mark Shetka of Earlybird Electric came out to our place in West St. Paul to install light fixtures and a fan. He was very communicative, skilled, professional, and respectful. We are very pleased with his work for our home! We would certainly call Earlybird and Mark for any additional electrical needs in the future.

Just had 2 ceiling lights installed and the old ones removed. Mark was my technician and it was a very pleasant experience. He was very careful and very respectful of my home! We also enjoyed nice conversations!

Carl from early bird was incredible and did a heroic job on my 1920s house. He came out to my home in Northeast Minneapolis and ran a dedicated circuit for me. So grateful for all the hard work!
