Blue Sky did an outstanding job in catering for our Fairtrade conference. We had over 250 delegates from over 20 countries and wanted to ensure strictly vegan catering for all as part of our commitment to sustainability, and as much use of Fairtrade products as possible. To ensure this was achieved Jackie and Ginny personally baked most of the traybakes and cakes provided. The lunches and snacks were all delicious; the vegans amongst us were delirious, and everyone greatly enjoyed the quality of the food and the service. Jackie and Ginny planned every step of the catering alongside us and were exceptionally committed to meeting our needs. In addition to meeting our requests as above, special meals for those with allergies were provided, separately packaged and labelled. All the serving staff were very friendly and professional, and all refreshments and meals were served promptly and efficiently at the requested times over the two and a half days. Portions were generous and the prices were extremely reasonable. I really can’t recommend Blue Sky highly enough; they were absolutely flawless. I attended an event at the University of Edinburgh organised by SCILT and the French Institute and the food served was made by Blue Sky. It was so good that I wrote down the name in case I need to organise an event. The aubergines and potatoes were particularly a favourite!

Ginny and her team put on an amazing dinner for a large group of us (20+). The food was very tasty and portion sizes were generous. Ginny was responsive and helpful throughout the booking/organisation process, and everything ran smoothly on the night of the dinner. The whole package was also very good value, and Ginny clearly explained the various options in terms of keeping the cost down vs adding elements for an additional cost, as well as various other aspects to help tailor things to our specific needs. Would highly recommend!

The catering provided for two very different celebrations of my recent birthday was nothing short of exceptional in every way! The quality and range of food was excellent and followed the brief perfectly. There were 30 people at the first party and everyone commented on the high standard of food and presentation of each dish. Such was the generous quantity that everyone left with boxes of treats to enjoy the following day and videos and photos sent from their gardens, beaches and hill walks were further proof of continued enjoyment of many dishes. What struck me as unique was the attention to detail in the tasty sauces and dressings which enhanced both the presentation and the flavour. Several folk who joined us are accustomed to high quality catering but they all said that they had never enjoyed food like it! There is no doubt that the food made the party 🥳 Additionally, the portions were very generous and great value for the price. The delivery on both days was very efficient and courteous and it was clear that every detail of our experience had been thoughtfully considered. The family lunch for the following day more than met our hopes and expectations and reflected the versatility and range of options available from this excellent company. I can recommend Blue Sky Catering as the best I have ever had! I hope this review captures the delight expressed by friends and family alike! We would not hesitate to use this company whenever we have an event which calls for excellence.
