This review is for the detailing side rather than the standard wash side. I brought my CRV to Body Beautiful back in September when I returned from Burning Man. I knew the car would be a mess and it sure was! Dust was everywhere, in all sorts of crevices. For those who don't know, the dust from this place is challenging - it's not like the sort of dust you encounter elsewhere. It's extremely fine and can stick to some surfaces no matter how many times you clean them. It's sort of well known that once you bring your car to the burn, it's never the same again. So I had high hopes and low expectations for getting it clean again. I also had tape residue (both fused goo from painters tape and also from duct tape) on the windows. Well the car looks great. I forget I ever took it there. My friends' cars always "leak" dust out of its crevices during every rain afterwards, and that has barely happened for me. They even cleaned the engine and it looks brand new to me (it's a 2005). Jorge the new owner is very involved and responsive and wanted to be sure I was happy with the result. I don't know what that costs elsewhere, and I'll admit it was a lot for me to spend. More than I wanted to spend for sure. But I have no complaints and no regrets, and if I ever take my personal car back to the burn, I wouldn't hesitate to bring it back here for detailing.
