Not thrilled with our service... I brought my dog in with pictures (with the pink bows) and the specific clipper instructions from her prior groomer to achieve that look and still she didn't get the right cut. I was a little taken aback when her drop off time was 11am and I was told to she'd be ready at 4 or 5pm but then at 3:45 that was pushed to 6, then 6:30. Even when we got there to pick her up she was still on the grooming table. It really looks like her whole groom was rushed. Her sanitary area wasn't shaved down (or cleaned properly), her legs were left really long, her face and fro are uneven, and the texture of her fur on her body is an indication she wasn't fully dry before getting cut down. It was clear when I picked her up that she sat in a cage for hours waiting to be serviced and that's just not acceptable. Even if the cut was stellar, that alone would prevent us from returning. I understand that a lot of pets are getting their grooms/cuts for the warm weather but if you're overbooked I'd be less disappointed if you just asked for a reschedule or turned us away. For what was done, the groom was entirely too expensive especially since we'll have to do a walk-in somewhere else to get her sanitary areas cut down. On top of that the pricing isn't transparent. I was quoted one price and was charged another. I'm assuming the off-hand comment at pick up about her legs being "tangled" means a "matting" fee was thrown in. We take her at home grooming very seriously so I know she didn't have mats but even if she did it still should have been clearly communicated what exactly I was being charged for. My baby is cute always but after 4 years of grooming every 6 to 8 weeks I've come to expect a certain level of quality that we just didn't recieve here.

Edit: I'll leave my stars since I used to have good experiences here, but things have gone downhill under the new ownership so we are not coming back anymore. I've taken my dog here twice so far after a bad experience at another groomer and I am happy to say that I do not need to shop around - these guys are great! Super friendly, efficient, and they genuinely care for and understand dogs.

Edit: Like everyone else has said, new ownership has caused this place to go downhill fast. The last time I dropped my dog off, it was 11am and they told me they were down 2 people, and he wouldn’t be ready until 3-6pm. Meaning it could be 8 hours of my dog sitting in the crate waiting. I would have much preferred they call and stagger the appointments or even move some. It’s obvious the management is not great anymore. Worth the price! They’re great and consistent. They take care of my little ball of energy each time. He always looks great and they deliver exactly what I asked for.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO BE GROOMED AT BONNIE'S Since changing ownership around Labor Day, I have taken my dog to Bonnie's twice and we will not be going back. The entire staff is different and they are all unprofessional and rude. The first time, they scheduled me for an 11:30AM drop off and told me my dog would be ready by 5:00PM. He was not ready to be picked up until 8:00PM!! The second time, I called the day before to make sure it would not be an 8 hour affair and they assured me it wouldn't be because they now had three groomers on staff. When we showed up the next morning, they told me he wouldn't be ready for pickup until 5PM because they only had one groomer that day. If you knew you were only going to have one groomer on staff, you should move or cancel some of the appointments. On top of that, my dog's fur was patchy and horrible, including a piece of hair hanging down from his ear lobe about three inches long. How do you miss this?? The professionalism and good work from the prior staff has been replaced by ineptitude - not to mention increased prices. Take your dog somewhere else where they will be properly cared for.

This place is very inattentive and careless. I have a Shih Tzu whose hair I’ve been growing out since she was a puppy—she is now 5 years old. I specifically maintain her long coat, including her ponytails and ear hair. Despite this, the shop said they accidentally mixed up my dog with another and chopped almost all of her hair off. All they could say was, “Sorry, we mixed up your dog.” That’s not acceptable, especially when it comes to someone’s pet and years of care. I was extremely disappointed with the lack of attention and responsibility.
