Bookmans Entertainment Exchange Mesa is a gem for anyone who loves used books, music, games, or just enjoying the thrill of discovery, the shelves are packed with a huge range of used books, comics, vinyl, DVDs, and games, so you never leave empty-handed. The store feels friendly, easy to browse, and every visit is a little adventure: sometimes I go in for one thing and walk out with three more surprises. What I appreciate most is the option to trade in old books or media for store credit or cash, it keeps the cycle going and always feels fair. Whether you’re hunting for a rare find, replenishing your shelf, or just browsing for fun, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Would highly recommend it to anyone around Mesa looking for a top used-book and media store.

Always great place for used quality items. Some things are a bit procey, so know the price of the item brand new before going in (video games. Sometimes great deal, sometimes a new one on amazon is only 2 dollars more). Love their stuff, lots to look at/check out.

I am visiting Arizona and found an old credit receipt from the early 2000s. I decided to visit Bookman's to see if it was still good to use and sure enough, it never expires! I bought a few goodies to take back home to North Carolina as souvenirs for family and friends. I love the unique items you can find there! One thing I noticed, though, was that sometimes they do price things at the same price or higher than if you bought it new. I asked one of the workers about it and showed them the comparison and she said they price according to what it costs at the time they receive the item and they don't price match and went ahead to tell me I can go buy it cheaper, new at the other store. I still ended up paying the higher price they had because I had the credit to use up ☹️.

Bookman's is a HUGE used book store. I'll post 4 pictures taken from the same spot in the store, facing 4 different directions. I loved this place when I worked at the Anasazi Foundation back in the late 90s, and just wanted to see if they still had a whole section just on Medieval History (they do). I found a translation and commentary on Beowulf by J.R.R. Tolkien here in 1996. Since I was in Mesa visiting, I came back specifically to see if they had it again. And found 2 copies! Not in hardback this time, but still epic! So many great finds here that uou won't see in most bookstores. Lots of vinyl records, blue ray, and console games here too!

Super eclectic. Great place to bring your old stuff to trade in for store credit or cash. They were happy to take my old Star Wars figures, Transformers, books and games we couldn’t sell on eBay.
