One of the only climbing gyms I go to frequently. Spacious, tons of climbing walls and routes, well-maintained, and kind staff. Also very inclusive of many kinds of people. I like ABP Springdale because the routes are fun and unlike other gyms doesn't just turn into crimps-only after you hit V3. Being able to do V6 black routes frequently and not have it be graded high solely because it's crimps-only like other gyms is nice. Soft grading and diverse set routes means it's easier to see strength and technique levels (in my opinion), and you don't get clumped together at the same level as someone who just started climbing but can brute-strength their way past routes with no technique.

Greatest gym in Austin. Excellent yoga and fitness classes. Huge facilities including a great locker room. Sauna is a huge plus -- hard to find a gym sauna in Austin. Plus a co-working space for taking work calls. Incredibly helpful staff and a kind community. Thanks for being amazing!

The Bouldering Project is an awesome place for all ages! The gym is spotless, well-organized, and has such a welcoming vibe. The climbing routes are creative and fun, and my kids absolutely love it here—they never want to leave. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, which makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for a clean, exciting, family-friendly climbing gym, this place is perfect! 🧗‍♂️✨

This is such a great spot if you love climbing or want to try it out. They offer solid membership options, and it’s a nice bonus that your first visit is free when you come with a member friend. The landing pads are soft and secure, and there are plenty of fun and challenging problems to work on. Beyond climbing, they also have yoga classes, a small gym area, clean showers, and a relaxing sauna that’s perfect after a tough session. If you need a break or want something healthy to snack on, the café upstairs has good options for a quick bite. It’s an all-around enjoyable place to spend time.

Great gym! Lots of routes that are updated weekly and maintained, including a kids area which is quite large. You can rent climbing shoes or buy from the store! The store sells chalk and bags and shoes… they have got it all covered. They have a large weight room for strength training and host yoga classes, as well. The locker room/restrooms are clean and offer showers and cold plunge. Once a month they host parents night out from 5-10. Kids get to climb, eat pizza, and watch movies.
