A bit over a year ago or so I was at my wits end. I spent endless hours trying to help my son with his math homework and trying to convince him he was capable of the assignment. His grades have always struggled. He’d work so hard for a C but typically a d or an f in math. And reading and writing scores struggled the same. It took a toll on his self esteem and confidence. He needed more help than I could offer. I found builders and they got us started impressively fast. My son has transformed. He has went from ‘needing intervention’ to 89th percentile in math. His class mates ask HIM for help with assignments now. I can see his confidence soaring, he’s improved in every area of his life. I cannot believe The progress he has made with his tutor at Brain Builders. I would highly recommend.

At the age of 9, my daughter could not read. It truly hurt her to not be like other kids her age. As a homeschool family, we had tried lots of different curriculum, but nothing seemed to work. Enter Brain Builders!! We have been tutoring with Ms. Paula for a year now, and my now 10 year old is reading! It wasn't always easy, my daughter definitely didn't make it easy, but Paula was there through it all. She never gave up on us when many others had. Her patience in difficult situations, her support of me as the difficult student's parent, and her ability to develop a truly caring rapport with my daughter has made all the difference. I know we could do Barton at home or through other services, but honestly, I can't imagine it being nearly as successful. It's the people behind the curriculum that make all the difference!
