Just had an existential crisis with my wife realizing that we’d never be able to replace Brennan’s low moisture whole milk mozzarella. It has transformed pizza night. P.S. Brennans let us know if you plan on discontinuing it so we can buy a few hundred blocks to keep us stocked up for a few years.

The meats and cheeses were fab and they have a fun selection of chutneys and mustards and sauces. If you're looking for unique ingredients for a charcuterie board or grilling then this is your spot! There are sooooo many unique cheeses and check out the wagyu beef, that stuff is made from supermodels! The staff is very friendly and informative. We really like this place. Two caveats...I wouldn't recommend the produce, it is overpriced and we got some apples that were mushy and brown on the inside so we just threw them out for the deer. The bakery is also overpriced and just average. But this is a really fun place to shop, there is a wide selection of fancies that make great gifts.

This is my favorite store with it's local and unique selection. They offer high quality options, great produce and cheeses. That's just the store, but then there's the Cafe and meats! The café has THE BEST sandwiches. Adam makes sure they offer only the highest quality and their homemade recipes cannot be beat. The BLT is by far the best in Madison, whenever I am on the West side I have to stop for that...macaroni salad is the best too!

The store is quite charming. The meat section is very high quality as well as large selection. Quite nice assortment of everything you need. All produce is mostly local when it is in season. Very big selection of cheeses. Highly recommend it to make your grocery store. I’ve been coming here for over ten years and always had thoughtful experience with Brennan’s.

Adorable little market with lots of cheese, I also picked up some of the most delicious grapes I've ever had.
