I’ve been attending BPS for the last couple of years and I love it. After suffering ongoing back and neck pain for years it has given me the confidence and skills to feel so much better and maintain much better physical health. I love my classes, they are structured, clear, very helpful and fun. The teachers are very careful with every student and always help correct anything we might not do during class which is so important in Pilates. The studio is such a happy, calm and nurturing place I would recommend it to everybody.
I have just completed my first term of Pilates on the recommendation of my Doctor following 3 heavy children with in a relatively short period.. I had previously been really struggling with a painful back but I can already feel a massive difference. Elle and Evie are both great - really personable and approachable. The classes are friendly & welcoming yet also challenging. I can already see an improvement in my ability and my back pain has really reduced. I look forward to the classes each week as they are a peaceful hour away from my busy life. Elle & Evie were recommended to me by a number of people and I can totally understand why now!
Elle and Evie understand the Pilates needs for each individual attending BPS. Both teachers are skilled at running professional yet friendly classes that leave you feeling stronger, fitter and more balanced. They offer suggestions to improve your ability and listen to all participants differing needs. I look forward to each class and trust both teachers will support me to be the best I can be during every mat exercise. Their attention to detail and tactile approach make you feel valued as a learner. I love the classes with Evie. Her directions are clear, her individual attention is excellent and she keeps the classes interesting by changing the focus and regularly giving us new exercises. I’ve also done a 1-on-1 session with Evie which was hard work but amazing. I suffer from lower back pain and after the session my back felt better than it has done in years! I can highly recommend Bristol Pilates Studio.
