I love this meditation centre, it has a really warm & supportive atmosphere. There is one main meditation/practice room and then extra rooms upstairs and a small kitchen for making tea. The main room feels friendly - it's not too big - and the people are too! Great introductions & ongoing courses in meditation in the Shambhala tradition. Highly recommended.

The centre has a wonderful, dignified atmosphere. The main shrine room is deceptively spacious and airy making the most of its location (and the elements, with sky-light sun shining through). The centre has great facilities for weekend sessions. The invitation to practice meditation in all it's forms should be accepted by anyone lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit. Insightful, warm, approachable staff make all welcome, newcomers and old timers alike. Lucky Bristol folks having such a rich meditative/contemplative tradition on the doorstep!

'Like coming home' was my Initial feeling about the Bristol Shambhala Centre. The people there are genuinely friendly and welcoming. To be able to sit in your own space and have that feeling of support and companionship is such a wonderful thing. I have been attending for a few years now and the courses have helped me find some tenderness within myself that I am able to share with others.

I have been going to the centre for a few years now. Warm and friendly people. Lovely peaceful atmosphere. Non secular mindfulness and awareness practice in a lovely calm space. I find the monthly talks inspiring, the once a month guided meditation helps keep me motivated to practice at home and Shamatha yoga is a short series of yoga movements that help break up sitting on a cushion or a chair and can also be done easily at home. There is also a curriculum which having followed has helped deepen my practice so that it has become a part of my life and daily routine. Just what is needed in this dark and stressful age we currently live in.

I have been attending the Wednesday meditation evenings at the Shambhala Centre in Clifton for a couple of years. I've found them inspiring and beneficial. A calm, welcoming and cheerful centre, offering thoughtful instruction.
