Finding someone that can trouble shoot and repair a Variax guitar seemed hopeless and after buying a second one as a solution when my first one died, when the replacement started acting up, I just couldn’t justify getting a third. After searching all over I found British Audio Service and after chatting with Shane I felt confident shipping it for him to check it out. He found the issue and got the missing part (not an easy find) and made sure it was responding correctly over a period of days. Got it back and not only did it function again but it played better than it did before. Top notch service. Highly recommend for this unique type of digital instrument. 10 out of 5 stars!!!
Fixed my Lauten Oceanus tube mic and Tegeler VTRC. Outstanding customer service. Quick, perfect work, reasonable prices and the coolest people I've ever dealt with. Thank you thank you!!
The setups they do on by basses make them a joy to play! They've also done great work on the guts of a vintage Kustom amp as well as replacing various knobs and switches on amps and guitars. Their customer service is always excellent. Check 'em out!
Shane and the Techs at British Audio are a pleasure to work with. Not only are they personable, but they take the time to explain what you need, as well as what you want. On my 1976 Marshall, my tech gave me a call and we brainstormed on what I wanted out of my amp. Based off that information, my tech was able to recommend the best places to spend money as well as what I SHOULDN'T SPEND money on. I love their honesty and that they took the time to tell me what wouldn’t be worth spending money on. Great folks at British Audio. They have a longtime customer in me!
Great guys, comfy shop with a good selection of stuff. Dropped my Ashdown amp off for a repair, they did great work. It’s back to like new. They do have a little wait time to get your stuff worked on from time to time, but any repair shop worth going to will be the same, and these guts are worth the wait. Communication about what they’re doing was A+, making sure you know what they’ll do and what it’ll cost before they do anything.
