Broadway Grooming Clinic is great, especially Alfonso. My dog always looks great. That’s the only place I go for my dog grooming.
I was able to make an appointment within a few days of calling luckily, he was very responsive and flexible with timing. Did a great job combing out the mats, removing the winter undercoat, and performing a sanitary cut on my skittish long haired cat (Turkish Angora), and also provided good general grooming advice. Just remember that you may need to premedicate your cat, but Alfonso will give you a quote and consultation on the requirements before he can work.
I called Alfonso because my dog’s former groomer told me that my Samoyed was too matted and needed to be shaved - an alarming and irresponsible suggestion to anyone who has experience with this breed - shaving a Samoyed can ruin their coat for their entire lives. Alfonso reassured me that my dog’s coat was normal, and today he did a beautiful job on Ollie - for the first time, there are no lingering mats or knots, and Ollie did not seem stressed by the experience. Alfonso also gave me tips for maintaining Ollie’s coat so that I don’t end up in a dire situation in the future. If you have a double-coated or long-haired pet, PLEASE avoid inexperienced groomers and instead call Alfonso. In addition to doing amazing work, he is prompt and responsive and easy to work with. We’ll be going to Broadway Grooming Clinic for any future needs.
Alfonso’s team was very welcoming, patient, and helpful when it came to my fur baby’s visit this morning. Alfonso himself was very communicative, efficient, and precise which was great since my cat had not had grooming experience until now. He also allowed me to stay during the session since my cat had not been groomed previously, both of us appreciated this!
Alfonso and his team (students) at the Broadway Pet Grooming School were very professional, timely and accommodating to the needs of my pet. I was happy they followed covid protocols, and I felt my pet and I were well taken care off. I will definitely be a repeat customer with my pet’s grooming needs. Thank you for taking us in during these upside down times as my pet still needed the care he was given. Highly recommend! New review for 8/6/22 since last review was in 2021. Alfonso and his team have always done an awesome job on my cat. I have been going here annually, past 3 yrs for my cat's haircut since he has long hair and it can get really matted. I now schedule before I notice the mats starting to make it easier for Alfonso and my cat. My cat feels great and happy after his haircut!!! I do give my cat Bach's pet rescue remedy the night before and right before the haircut to help him calm down. Alfonso is great to work with and has amazing animal knowledge.
