Inviting, the ladies up front are cordial, welcoming, polite, easy to talk to and very accommodating. In town on business, stopped by yesterday for lunch, Thursday 11-20-2025 had the Shrimp Pasta, stopped today Friday 11-21-2025 for lunch and had the Shrimp and Grits (No Bacon, No Chives, No Cheddar). Both dishes hands down, tasty, savory, can definitely make your feet dance, hum and wiggle in your seat with every bite.

All I can say is WOW! The catfish was the best I have had in years. Fried perfectly and just a real treat. The soul rice had green and red bell peppers, crumbled pork sausage and was seasoned well. And can’t forget how good the biscuit was. Buttery crisp crust and light and fluffy on the inside. Perfect! The ladies were super friendly and keep things moving. Definitely will be back and will tell my friends!

I’ve been to Brunch and Soul twice and I was highly satisfied both times. The food is amazing and it is reasonably priced. The service is quick and the cashier is always kind. I will continue to be a returning customer to support this excellent restaurant. My only suggestions are to expand the brunch menu for every day and expand the seating area for dine in customers.

Great service, food, and ambience! I visited this location on July 6 and I had a great experience. My friend and I tried the voodoo Cajun chicken pasta and the fried chicken with mac & cheese and baked beans. Literally everything tasted delicious. I would love to come back to try the chicken and waffles :)

We drove up from Lexington to see about this restaurant that's been showing up in my Instagram and tiktok feed. Let me tell you, this place EXCEEDED ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS. Let's start with the service. They could not have been more hospitable. Very kind and helpful with menu suggestions. Now on to THE FOOD!!! These waffles will change your entire outlook on how a waffle should taste. Fluffy and full of flavor! They had like six different flavors available today and we tried the caramel. Some other offerings were cinnamon roll, birthday cake, cookies and cream, and strawberry. Their chicken wings were not little bitty cornish hen wings. These are full size grown up wings! So incredibly juicy inside and fried to perfection without a heavy batter. I could go on and on. The soul rice is not to be slept on. Try it all. You won't be disappointed.
