Visited on a work trip. The restaurant has a great ambiance and our service was great. Especially for a big group. We had spinach artichoke dip and shrimp for appetizers. Tasty! Our steaks were wonderful and the rolls were even better. Potatoes and asparagus didn’t disappoint. Definitely recommend a visit for a special occasion.

We had a wonderful time this past Saturday at Steak & Bourbon downtown. From the moment we arrived, the ambience was beautiful, the restaurant was lively, and the live music set the perfect tone for the evening. It was the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to relax, enjoy great company, and savor every moment. Our waiter, Nic, was absolutely amazing—very attentive, knowledgeable, and informative. He made great recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the night without feeling rushed. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. One of our dishes (pictured) was cooked perfectly and full of flavor—clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience from start to finish. Great food, great service, and an incredible vibe. This is definitely a spot we’ll continue to return to and recommend to others. DATE NIGHT VIBES💕

A+ food at the Steak and Bourbon Downtown Louisville. Highly recommend this place. Great lobster bisque w real chunks of lobster. Phenomenal steaks; Especially, the trio combo pictured below which is a good value and a great way to explore three different flavor toppings. The service and the people are all amazing. All the personnel at this place is ready to assist you and guide you with your dining experience. Ask for Nico, he’s terrific!

I’d skip this spot. We came in on a Friday night with a reservation, and despite the lobby not being busy and us arriving at our reservation time, had to wait about 15 minutes for our table. When we were finally seated it took an abnormal amount of time for us to get greeted by our server. Eventually got delivered bread with an edible butter candle which tasted good and was salty and buttery. The bar service was slow to get us drinks each time. I ordered the scallops and my boyfriend ordered the land and sea. The portions were super small for the price. My plate had 3 scallops and about an ears worth of corn, clearly they try to make it feel like you get more food, but corn is cheap so the price doesn’t match. My boyfriend’s steak could be classified as bites, one was under cooked and the other was over cooked. Overall the food was edible but for the price and service I would definitely look elsewhere.

From start to finish, our experience at Steak and Bourbon was excellent. The meal began with their signature bread served alongside a beef tallow candle. It was a really unique and perfect way to set the tone of what was to come. My steak and the wife’s burger were cooked to perfection, tender and seasoned just right. For sides, we tried the caramelized Brussels sprouts and the Philly-style mac and cheese, both of which were outstanding and complemented the steaks beautifully. The drink selection was also on point, offering a great variety to pair with the meal. Overall, Steak and Bourbon delivers on both quality and atmosphere. I highly recommended checking this place out!
