When Arnold Mendez was in the process of closing his A & M Shell Gas Station and Service Center, I was deeply worried. "Where am I going to take my car now?" I asked Arnold. And he said, "Buck's Automotive. They are really good with drive-ability." During this season of Thanksgiving, I'm very grateful to Arnold Mendez for his referral and to Buck's Automotive for taking such good care of my car in the years since. My car has a few years and miles on it now, but, no matter the issue, they keep it running. Just the other day I thought, "It's driving so nicely." Their service is excellent, their prices are good and fair, and you can always trust them. Tucson is lucky to have a service center like Buck's Automotive. They are always there for you and they truly care.

Being an old Vietnam Veteran, I'm old enough to have seen and experienced many mechanics over the years. In all those long years, Buck's Automotive has been the most reliable, most courteous and most efficient out of all those other mechanics. The great thing, the most important thing, is trust. You can trust them to do exactly what's needed to fix issues, and not upsell you on things you don't need. I bought my 2009 F150, new, and Buck's keeps it in great shape for me. I can sum up their services with the words, trust, honesty and competence. You can add high level expertise in everything they do for you. It's hard to find someone you can trust to care for your vehicle. I highly recommend Buck's, period.

Outstanding service. Exceptional care. No wonder Buck’s Automotive Service was voted Best of Tucson 2025! Due to recently relocating to Tucson, I needed to find a good and honest auto mechanic. I went to my go-to source for reliable automotive repair service information; AAA. I searched for the closest AAA approved auto repair facility and found Buck’s Automotive Service Center. By chance I had just read about Buck’s in the “Best of Tucson 2025” and I also read the many positive reviews Buck’s had on the web. I took my car to Buck’s this morning for a routine oil & filter service/general once over. Mike and his team were attentive, professional and focused on providing me with a clear explanation of what to expect. I was very impressed by the high-level of customer care, spotless office, as well as their clean and welcoming waiting area. Service was quickly completed and as a veteran I was not charged. Not only did Mike make me feel valued as a customer he also made it evident that he supports active military and veterans alike. This type of attention is rarely seen anymore. It was a joy to find that kind of thoughtfulness and pride. I look forward to having my vehicle serviced again at Buck’s and will not hesitate in highly recommending Buck’s Automotive Service Center to anyone in need of quality automotive maintenance.

Incredible experience!! Went in for front brakes and oil change. They explained after doing ful brakes inspection mine didn't need any. I only got charged for the oil change. They were so honest when they could have just done the work I requested and charged me 420.00. Even gave free shuttle service. Blue, my advisor was awesome. Now I will only take my car to them!

With so many automotive repair and service centers to choose from, how do you decide your best option? Let me help. I saw an ad for Buck's Automotive offering a free oil change and tire rotation for veterans during the month of November and decided I'd drive all the way across town to see what they were about, and I left 110% satisfied with my choice. From the cordial staff, to the comfortable waiting room (with complimentary snacks!), to the expedient, thorough, and professional service, I can't recommend them high enough. They informed me of a few deficiencies they noted during my service, yet used no pressure tactics to persuade me to spend more money, unlike most repair shops. Despite the distance, I will be going back for sure, and I was so satisfied I even bought a traveling Buck plushy to accompany us on our future relocation back to Europe. The fact that they recognize veterans reflects their devout patriotism and deserves our support. Give Buck's a try, you'll be happy you did, and thank you Buck's for all you stand for.
