Buffalo State Pizza has quickly become our go-to spot when it comes to pizza. The pies are consistently excellent, with great flavor and quality every time. On top of that, they have a solid beer selection that pairs perfectly with the food. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. This place truly feels like a neighborhood favorite—we keep coming back and are never disappointed.

Day 2 and this pizza still smack as hard as it did the night before! 100/100 recommend! Last night I demolished 3/4 of 14” I shared with my best friend! It’s the kind of pizza that you don’t want to share with anyone else but yourself! I have been thinking & talking about this place all day! One of, if not, the best pizza spot in KC! I would duel anyone over the last slice! Mouth filled with drooled waiting to enrich my body with its oooie gooieness!

We were in KC from out of town and wanted a good quality pizza and they totally delivered! The atmosphere was just what I was hoping for with a bit of an eclectic urban energy that hit this city girl right in the feels. Will be returning when in town again!

Wondering aimlessly around Crossroads while riding street car and stopped for a quick early lunch with the woman I’m related to by marriage. First time. Loved the vibe. The crust, THE CRUST! 🤯 I had a slice and a beer, she had a chicken parm sandwich. Very reasonably priced and very good. Place was not very busy and didn’t take very long to get our food. We will be back.

Our “ladies lunch squad” dined at Buffalo State Pizza at 1815 Wyandotte St., in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. There are a number of adjectives to describe the atmosphere… warm, casual, rustic, eclectic. And the pizza is amazing! The menu is extensive — with a large variety of pizzas to choose from (including build your own), plus salads, sandwiches, calzones, and a plethora of beverages! They also have “Summer Salt” ice cream and old-school pinball machines. Last but not least, the service is excellent! I’m excited about dining there in the future.
