Emergency furnace failure needed prompt service in bitter cold. Called early AM on a Saturday. Got in touch with Danny who was courteous and knowledgeable. Had the heat back on the same day. Danny had great communication skills and informed me each step of the way. Second great service from Burkhardt in time of need. Signed up for membership maintenance program and they will be the first call I make.

The team was prompt courteous and considerate. The repair first had to be exposed and evaluated: it was to the water service adjacent to space heating piping. Experience intuition and skill enabled a direct location and repair. The procedures and work were explained and questions answered with good communication. I appreciate that all correctible conditions were addressed as encountered in the course of the repair.

Their electricians have been horrible. Called to hang and install a basic kitchen ceiling light. The light had 84” of chord and we went over with the techs the exact length of the hang at 6 1/2” feet with a tape measure. Tech did it at 2” feet and left. Tried to call back to get it fixed. They confirmed an appointment for the following Tuesday. Then they didn’t show up. When I called about it, said oops sorry our tech said it only works 2 feet. Which isn’t correct. I sent the light specs at 84” and they didn’t offer to actually come over and fix it with the scheduled appointment. Offered a ridiculous “free new light install” or a $75 credit on next appointment. Wouldn’t use them again. Especially if you have a nice suburban house. Used them before in 2 wall scone lights and let’s say I felt it was a bit of an over charge then too. Had another electrician company come over, they installed the kitchen light correctly in 20 minutes, took the 2 foot light that was cut wrong and got that to an upstairs bedroom, making it more contemporary, in total was done correct in about 30 minutes.

Danny from Burkhardt Heating & Cooling came out today for routine furnace maintenance, and I was very impressed. He arrived on time, was friendly and professional, and explained everything clearly as he went along. When he found that a repair was needed, he was able to take care of it right away instead of scheduling another visit. He even made a quick trip to get the part so the job was done the same day, and I was still able to make it to my daughter’s sporting event on time. I truly appreciated his thoroughness, efficiency, and respect for my schedule. Excellent service and I feel confident knowing my furnace is in good hands.
