Matt is a true professional and I highly recommend him to anyone thinking about having a piece restored. I had a family heirloom that was essentially a museum piece mailed up to him from Florida. He was honest in his pricing and assessment and made sure that he explained everything he planned to do in depth so that I understood the process. He also was honest about timing which I greatly appreciated. Perhaps one of the best things besides the fact that the piece now looks immaculate is that he helped me with shipping and delivery of the secretaire to my house. I was pulling my hair out stressing about how I would get that part done, but lo and behold Matt has the perfect guys for the job. Every step of this process was easy and stress free. I wouldn’t look anywhere else.

Matt did an amazing job on the restoration of an antique bookshelf I had that was badly in need of repair. He went through the entire process of what he would do when we initially met and kept me up to date on the progress while working on the piece. I would recommend Matt at Burma Design for restoration projects and will be reaching out to him in the future if I need another piece restored.

I contacted Burma about a broken piano bench. Matt was very clear what process he’d take to repair the damage. He also showed me that the bench needed to be more stabilized, after all it’s about 60 yrs old, and was becoming a little loose. Now the bench looks brand new! It looks very pretty and is more stable than before. The price was very reasonable.

I have nothing but glowing reviews for Burma Design Antique Restoration, Conservation and Fine Furniture Repair. I had several antique items that were badly damaged in an interstate move, some of which have very ornate designs. Matt worked diligently, and in a matter of a week, fixed everything like it was brand new. You can tell he is passionate about the quality of his work- it shows in every detail. Highly recommend.
