We can't recommend Jill enough. She is incredibly patient and non-judgemental, which was so reassuring for us. She helped us navigate socialization and all the potential pitfalls of first time ownership with our first dog, Gigi, and has been just as brilliant with Rumi, expertly handling their different personalities.

The investment that keeps on giving. Having a couple of 121 sessions with Jill has been a gamechanger. My expectation was we’d hopefully come away with some techniques to manage my puppy’s chasing drive (of cars/cyclists/runners) but I learnt an incredible amount about my dog, his drives (herding behaviour) and how to manage him. I understand him a lot better now which has help build our trust, recall and management. Jill trained me and not the dog which has really grown my confidence. My stress on walks is so much lower as I feel i’ve got a way to manage and control Rufus now. We’ve also got lots of games to play both as ongoing homework but that also help us bond. There’s no doubt I’ll be calling on Jill again once Rufus is a little more grown up and if we need any help.

Rosie and I started with one to one sessions with Jill when I was really struggling with Rosie’s behaviour due to her being an anxious teenager. We had previously tried another trainer with little success. Not only did Jill help me understand and help Rosie grow into a much more confident dog but she also gave me the support I needed to cope with her! Since the one to ones, we have been regular participants in Jill’s group sessions and love her classes. More recently, we have started attending Jill’s online sessions which has been a great way to tire Rosie out on cold, wet nights and has also given me more things to work on and bond with wee Rosie on. I can’t recommend Jill highly enough. Thank you for all your help and support Jill.

Jill has supported me since I got my dog nearly 3 years ago and I’ve used her 1-2-1 service, Group classes and more recently her Do More with your dog online community. This online community has been fantastic and helped keep my dog engaged and enriched over the winter months. We take part in a weekly online class which is a balance of supported training and fun activities. Jill has created a relaxed and supportive community, where it’s fine if your dog is having a rebellious moment! What’s great is that classes and topic specific seminars are recorded and available if you can’t catch them live. Jill also offers a Q&A session every month which is great for getting some help and advice! My dog gets excited now when I bring my laptop out at night as he expects some training!

Started attending Jill’s agility workshops with my rescue dog early last year. Jill always facilitates the class at each dog’s pace and has taught me loads about reading my dog’s body language/cues - Oscar adores going. Can also recommend her 1-2-1 training sessions. After one session assisting with a bit of reactivity, putting her methods into practice consistently has transformed Oscar’s decision making on-lead around other dogs. Completely force-free, no slip collars or any other aversives. Jill is the real deal, also a lovely person and very easy to talk to and ask questions of! We’re now able to enjoy walking pretty much anywhere again.
