James came and re-aligned three doors that had been sticking for years, driving me nuts. He was super fast, clean (wore booties and did the door shaving outside), and very nice with my new puppy who was *very* interested in what he was working on. James was able to schedule quickly and was not only on time, but checked in about coming by early! Highly recommend.

Note: This is not a review for service provided but for the process of service estimate. I wasted a day communicating back and forth with James, sending him measurements and information, discussing parameters, and setting a day for an in person estimate. Only for him to say at the end, oh you're not in my service area. What? I wrote in the city in the original quote request, since there was a question specifically for that. Super unprofessional and honestly, felt a little bit scammy, like he felt the quote he originally gave was too low and he had seller's remorse immediately. Edit: Since he's saying that it was a mistake, I'll just post the sequence of events. Then folks can make their own judgment. 1. I filled in the online quote request, mentioning that I would like installation for IKEA cabinets and the city that I was located. 2. He responded with a request for the cabinet images and layout map. 3. I sent what was requested. 4. He sent back an estimate for demo and install (2850) and said if it sounded reasonable we could set up an in person evaluation. 5. I agreed. 6. We picked a date. He requested the full project plan. 7. I sent it. 8. He says, I see that you have IKEA cabinets. He says the quote doesn't include installation of internal organizers. 9. I said my cabinets are simple and asked whether installation of doors and drawers are included. 10. He said it does not include doors or drawers. After I asked him how much it would be to include them in the quote, he gave an estimate 1k higher. 11. I said ok, and wanted to confirm an in person estimate date. 12. He asked for my address and phone number. 13. I gave it to him. 14. He said my address is out of his service area. Also, I don't know where you're getting your information but your rates are not 50% of "big box stores". For this kitchen, full installation from IKEA is 3.6K and demo is 1k. Have a great day.

James is an incredible handyman. We hired him to replace baseboards in our (entire) house, close off a pocket door opening, and hang a TV. He has an incredible attention to detail, works efficiently, and is very clean. We have a toddler and it was nice to have all dust and debris cleaned and removed at the end of each day. He finished the work within the quote and estimated timeframe we were provided. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family, and he will certainly be our go-to for home repairs and upgrades in the future. Truly thrilled with the work he completed.

James did and absolutely perfect job installing a new over-the-hood microwave for us. He was extremely pleasant, professional, quick and the first person I would call if I need something else done. Thanks so much James!

James did a marvelous job for us replacing our front door, back door, and closet doors. His quality of work was superior and when he was finished there was no remaining sign of a worksite. James removed all the debris and vacuumed and cleaned. In addition to his work quality, James was prompt, polite, and efficient. Quality and Competence are an unbeatable team! James also knows where his skills are best applied. When offered extra work "outside his lane" as he put it, he politely declined. That only increases one's sense that he can be trusted. Call James. You will not be disappointed.
