She was a lifesaver. So calm helped me make my daughter's birthday perfect. Even though I had almost no time from the date I ordered until I needed the cake. The quality of the cake was the best I have had in my 57 years. She decorated it Even better then I could have dreamed. I cannot recommend her enough.
I order on 11/12 or 13th and the cake came out better than I imagined. She understood everything I wanted on my cake and made it happen! And the taste was incredible as well. This totally made up for a crappy cake I got from another bakery for last year. Will definitely be ordering my cakes from here from now on!
Edit to Add: it’s been a couple years now since the Minion Cakes! I have ordered for almost every birthday. We ordered 3 cakes this year for birthdays. A Spider Man Cake, a Carrot Cake, and a Hello Kitty Cake! All were amazing!!! I won’t get cakes from anywhere else. Added More pictures of the recently ordered cakes! I just ordered my second cake from here! I was so impressed and happy with my Son’s First Birthday Cakes that I had to come back for my daughter’s birthday. If you’re thinking about it just do it! The cakes look amazing and the taste even better!
We ordered a Lego Ninjago cake and cookies for our son’s 3rd Birthday. The cake was marble with vanilla custard filling. Let me just say that was the best cake we’ve had in a long time! So moist, perfect vanilla and chocolate cake. The custard was perfectly not too sweet. Cookies were exactly as we thought they would be. Val was so nice and accommodating to what we wanted. We will always get our birthday cakes here!
I've been getting cakes from here for about 8 years and they never fail me ❤️ I am always excited to see what my cakes are going to look like in person even the one that we ordered over the phone was beyond what we could ever have imagined, the cake itself it so soft and flavorful. I will keep coming back and I come back for two reasons the first one is going to be the quality of the cake itself it's really good, and designs are also awesome but there is nothing better than walking into a bakery and seeing Val! She's amazing and super duper cool! and she's really knowledgeable in cupcakes and cakes she always makes sure I get exactly what you need and nothing more or nothing less. I will keep coming back to this location with my adult attitude 😉 because how can you be negative when you receive your cake from Cakes by Karen! so thank you Val and thank you Cakes by Karen for making our celebrations special! ❤️❤️
