This is my daughter’s third year at Camp Sierra Vista, and it has truly become a part of who she is. Each summer she returns more confident, more grounded, and full of a joy. This camp has given her courage, a new perspective, and a second home she holds close to her heart. She is a proud Chickasaw for life and counts down the days until she is back under the oak trees, soaking in the big Texas sky and swimming in the Guadalupe River. The friendships she has made here run deep, and I have no doubt she will stay connected with her camp sisters for life. One of the most special parts is knowing she has this second group of friends to lean on. If things get tough with school friends, she knows she can text her camp friends for support and understanding. A huge shout out to the counselors, who are absolutely incredible. They are strong, kind, and fun, and have made such a lasting impact on her. She looks up to them so much and already dreams of becoming a counselor herself one day. Camp Sierra Vista is more than just a summer camp. It is a place where girls grow in confidence, character, and lifelong connection. I am forever grateful that my daughter gets to be part of something so meaningful.

Camp Rio Vista is truly a magical camp experience. Our three boys have been campers here for years, and now one of them is a counselor. The staff is friendly, and enthusiastic, creating a safe and fun-filled environment. Our boys have been given opportunities to try new activities, explore new interests, and learn valuable life skills. The facilities are top-notch, the food is delicious (looking at you, Mrs. Becky’s famous cinnamon rolls!) and the traditions are truly special. Our family highly recommends Camp Rio Vista to anyone looking for a great summer camp experience.

My husband attended Rio Vista back in the early 1980s and now my 3 kids attend Rio Vista and Sierra Vista. The wonderful memories they have made at camp are priceless. It's their home away from home and where they have had some of their happiest moments. They are always sad to leave and can't wait to go back next summer. The directors and counselors are amazing and care so much for each camper. They give their all to make sure each camper has a great experience. Friendships, independence, growth, fun, service, hard work, leadership and teamwork are just a few words to describe why we are grateful for Vista Camps.

We love this place. With plans to make this our son's home away from home during summers. Nat is an amazing person and we love him for all he has done for our son. In the short time with his Rio Vista family his confidence went from questioning himself to believing in himself. We only did the week term and then our son got strep and had to come home. Or son fights with strep so it wasn't nothing they did. He was such a sad boy on the way home. But we are planning for 2 weeks this coming year ..

Both of my kids have gone to Vista Camps for the past two summers and had a blast. They can't wait to go back! We did a ton of research on camps and kept hearing great things about Vista. It's in a gorgeous setting, has tons of history and the owners genuinely care about the campers and develop relationships with them. We are pretty protective of our kids and this feels like a safe place for them. We have close family friends whose daughter was a camper for years and then a counselor. They credit her summers at Vista with helping her become a strong, independent person. Plus it's basically nonstop fun, sun and friends.
