I recently began private lessons at Canberra Dance Academy, and even after just three sessions I was amazed. Greg worked absolute magic—despite never having danced paso doble before, he had me performing confidently for a theatre production. The atmosphere Greg and Tatiana create is welcoming, inspiring, and genuinely uplifting. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we’ve now decided to join regular classes, and we already know one or two of our children will be dancing here too once they’re old enough. We were also kindly invited to the school’s Christmas party, which was full of joy, professionalism, and new dance friends. The standard of ballroom and Latin dance that Tatiana and Greg have brought to Canberra is exceptional—something truly new for our city. A wonderful community and an inspiring place to learn.

Highly recommend. Would give 10 stars. Extremely knowledgeable and authentic coaches who are so student focused they lift your expectations of support in every other aspect of your life. Highly encourage anyone interested in standard or latin ballroom to try CDA

Both of my daughters really like Teachers Tati and Gregory. My children have been taking formal dance classes, and these two teachers are the most dedicated and responsible ones I’ve seen so far. They are very patient with the children’s learning and always come up with creative ways to make the lessons engaging and not boring.

Over six beautiful, joyful, and truly magical sessions, the incredible team at CDA guided us through an experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. From the very first class, it was clear how much talent, passion, and heart these teachers pour into every moment. Their attention to detail, their ability to teach with patience and encouragement, and the sheer joy they bring to the studio created a space where we felt completely supported and inspired. What began as a goal to learn a simple routine became something much more meaningful: a journey that brought us even closer together as a couple. They didn’t just teach us steps—they gave us confidence, laughter, and memories we’ll treasure forever.
