This is an outstanding small dance school! The teachers and owner know you by name, and are so positive. Classes are an age appropriate amount of repetition, variety and skill building. My son was never forced to do anything, or punished for doing his own thing - it was very supportive and go at your own pace. Sprung floors, clean facilities and an easy walk from the tram stop (two coffee shops on the way). We did two terms at Gumnut Dance - toddler age (Spinning Gumnut class). I would reccommend it very highly!

Thank you Gumnut Dance for all your hard work and commitment over the last couple of years, you’re all doing a fabulous job. We are super impressed with our daughters dance moves – amazing. Also it is great to be able to buy dance attire from Gumnut Studio. It saves me so much time – yay! My girls started at the beginning of the year and they absolutely love it! The no pressure program is a perfect introduction to dance and all the staff are wonderful. Justine has been lovely to deal with for any inquiries. Highly recommended!

Our daughter is about to start her third term at Gumnuts; we love it there. The school’s philosophy of not subscribing to the high pressure, over the top, tutus make up and uniform hairstyles was exactly what we were looking for. Dancing for fun. Sure they’re learning new skills and moves, but it is first and foremost fun

Is it possible to give more stars? This dance studio has been the best experience for my daughter as it promotes body positivity and a joyful dance experience. The staff are warm and friendly and looked after my (initially nervous) girl from her very first class. The Director went out of her way to be welcoming and supportive, and we have been so pleased to see how our daughter has grown in confidence since starting these classes. Thank you Justine and team - you are extraordinary and I have nothing but praise for your beautiful studio.
