Amazing team and amazing place for my dog. She goes to daycare with them once a week and also spent several vacations with them (boarding). They always take super good care of her, their communication is always very good and reasuring. Would recommend to any dog owner who needs a place they can fully trust.

Alright, buckle up because I’ve got some things to say about Canine Connection. I brought my golden retriever in and asked for a puppy cut. Now, I’ve owned this dog for four years. He’s been groomed every two months like the bougie king he is, and every other groomer knows what I mean when I say “puppy cut.” But apparently here, that’s not a thing. The groomer looked at me like I’d just asked her to perform rocket surgery and insisted there’s no such thing as a puppy cut. So there I am, explaining to a professional groomer what a puppy cut is, like I’m teaching Dog Grooming 101. She kept asking if I wanted to shave my golden. No, girl, I do not want to shave my golden retriever. She even told me it was bad for them—like yes, babe, I know. Then she got this weird fixation on whether I wanted his belly and butt shaved. I said fine, thinking we were on the same page. Spoiler alert: we were not. When I picked him up, sure, the price was decent. But my poor golden looked like he’d been through a back-alley breakup. His mane and chest? Untouched. Arm flags and flyaway hairs? Still flapping in the breeze. Meanwhile, his entire underside was shaved down to skin, and his backside looked like she’d been on a mission. And the ears? Lord help me. I asked for a tidy-up and she took a chunk out of the ear fur so now it’s giving “DIY quarantine haircut” vibes. Three stars because my dog is still alive and they didn’t charge me a fortune. But I’m never going back. I’ll drive across state lines before I let them near my golden again.

My dog has been groomed here several times and each visit has been a positive experience. He loves seeing the staff and just lights up. They do a great job getting all his loose fur off and trimming his nails. Highly recommend.
