*REVIEW 1/2 - SEE WESTSIDE LOCATION* I scheduled a required “intro” appointment for my dog and specifically chose this facility because I was told there would be a tour and a proper introduction process. This is a significant monthly expense for me, and I rely on daycare right now due to a leg injury, so choosing the right place matters. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment (which I had confirmed the day prior), staff were rushed and did not treat me like a new client. I was told I would receive a tour, but once I arrived, they said they didn’t have time. My dog was taken from my car and brought inside without any walk through or opportunity for me to see where he would be staying. I also clearly communicated that my dog is fearful of men and would need a gentle introduction. I was reassured they were experienced with this. However, when I checked the cameras throughout the day, I saw the opposite of what was promised: He was immediately placed in a large group with big dogs, supervised only by a male staff member. There was no gradual introduction or effort to build comfort. The staff member repeatedly approached him in a way that clearly made him more anxious. My dog paced, panted, and appeared visibly distressed for the entire day. No one attempted to comfort him, redirect him, or even acknowledge his anxiety. I also informed staff that he is primarily an indoor dog and may overheat. Despite that, he was kept outside for the entire day and appeared overheated and overwhelmed. When I called during the day to check on him, I was told he was “doing great.” This was not accurate based on what I was watching live on the cameras. The most concerning part came at pickup. I was told: They did not know his name all day. They did not realize he was an intro dog. He was placed in the general group without following their own intake process. This is especially alarming considering: I completed their online profile with his name and photo. He was wearing a collar with his name. This was a scheduled intro appointment. This indicates a serious breakdown in communication and basic safety protocols. Despite everything I witnessed, I was told at pickup that he “had a great time and played all day,” which was simply not true. My dog left extremely distressed, exhausted, and not himself. I understand that daycare can be an adjustment, but this was not a normal adjustment period. This was neglect, poor communication, and failure to follow their own procedures. To make matters worse, when I picked him up, he was in such a state of distress and dehydration that I questioned whether he had even had adequate access to water. When we got home, he immediately drank an excessive amount of water and then spent the entire evening vomiting. Instead of this service helping me during a difficult time while I’m injured, it created more stress and additional cleanup at home. I would strongly caution others, especially those with dogs that need a thoughtful introduction or have anxiety concerns.

We needed to have our dog kenneled at the last minute and my boss recommended canine country club. My dog one of the best times of his dog life. Prices were very reasonable for the level of spoiling my tiny dog received. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to board their dog.

Jo is incredibly patient with my little wild dog. Every time he comes here, he gets a little more comfortable with her. And she does a perfect trim and brushing him out, until he doesn't look like the same dog!!
