Cody is a rescued puppy who faced many challenges. As the runt in his litter, he got picked on and torn up, plus he had a birth defect affecting his vision, which needed surgery. I did my best to train him and help him learn how to behave and have fun, but I lacked the necessary knowledge and time to learn. After researching various training facilities, I knew SMS was the perfect choice from the start. Trainer LaMont truly cared about Cody’s well-being and success in the program. Since graduating from Day Train Plus, Cody has transformed. We were able to take him with us Black Friday shopping and to my shock it was easy! He enjoyed his time out on the town but remained obedient and calm the entire time! Trainer LaMont must be magic!! Cody is still his happy and energetic self but is now respectful of other dogs, obedient, and more attentive to me. Cody will continue his training with SMS occasionally and already enjoys daycare! It brings me joy to see a tired but happy Cody at the end of the day.

My German Shepherd’s behavior improved 100%. She has calmed down and listens better. She isn’t jumping on furniture, pulling on the leash and she even knows “quiet” on command. She is attentive to directions and is a much happier puppy and her separation anxiety has gotten so much better. She has a job to do and is a working dog, so that role helps both of us a lot.

We recently enrolled our almost 2-year-old Siberian Husky rescue in Sit Means Sit ABQ’s 10-day training and boarding program, and I couldn’t believe the change. She was especially difficult to manage at home during the day, but the difference after training has been incredible. Since graduating, we’ve also been attending group lessons, and it’s been amazing to see her continue to improve. Cristian, Lynn, and the entire team deserve a huge shoutout for their incredible work and for treating our dog as if she were their own. If you’re looking for effective, reliable training with people you can truly trust, Sit Means Sit ABQ is the place to go.

When I bring my baby here I feel like they know him as well as I do! They trained him really young and continue to be a support for us. The training has helped us to understand his behavior and harness it better. I recommend this place for training and boarding! ***Update: my boy was getting so big, I couldn't get him to listen, I boarded him 1 night, and 1 training lesson, I almost can't believe the world of difference, he's listening again and we can take walks with out him dragging me. We both needed a reminder on our training.
