It was a beautiful day, so we opted to sit outside for a late brunch around 130 pm. We odered. The server brought us 3 of our 4 meals out to the street seating area, and we didn't see her again for a long time. When I finished my meal, which was delicious, I went back into the restaurant and found our server. She was very apologetic and said she'd talk with the chef, bring it out as soon as possible, and they would not charge for the meal that hadn't been served at the same time as the others. When she came outside with the long overdue meal, a person accompanied her - that person said nothing. Server said she was sorry and that 10% would be deducted from the cost of the one entree. I was speechless. While grateful that the food finally arrived and the discount, it was an experience that made me decide never to return. This is not only unfortunate for me, as I have Celiac Disease and rarely am able to locate a restaurant with a completely Gluten Free kitchen, but also because the the foid was excellent and I could eat it without fear of gluten contamination. I cannot recommend Cantina for others who cannot eat gluten due to the exceptionally poor servicewe received.

Great restaurant with authentic Mexican cuisine! Our server was awesome explaining everything on the menu to us. I had the Carne Asada and my friend had the fish tacos. Both dishes were a 10/10. Will definitely be back! The only take away was that the chairs were uncomfortable. But definitely something I can deal with.

Cantina’s got an awesome location with really nice ambiance and outdoor seating. Had never been here before so I ordered tacos- the tijuanero (steak) tacos were tasty- big fan especially of the shell. They brown the shell and it’s so nice and crunchy. However, according to the guys next to me, the brisket tacos aren’t great so don’t get those.

Mmmm mMmm MmmMmm, the flavors were melting on my tongue. Seriously though, this place is incredible, if you have the dough to spend. Everything we tried was a new and interesting flavor experience. I would go back in a heartbeat. The service was also amazing, they were super kind, knowledgeable, and willing to accommodate for dietary restrictions. Also it is chef owned and operated and a scratch kitchen!! Such a huge plus, and makes it a much better place to put your money! Thanks so much for the good food and drink.

I never would have guessed that one of the best tacos of my life would be in Cincinnati. The Tujuanera is unreal. Like 10/10. The crispy tortilla shell and the salsa are amazing. The Suadero was 9.5/10, so only slightly less amazing. Queso fundido was solid, the oysters were very tasty too. Great meal.

The way the butter simmered on the carne asada 🤤 oh my… that moment alone was….*chef's kiss That michelada took me straight back to Guadalajara — perfectly refreshing with a spicy kick 🍋🔥 From rich, flavorful carne to the unexpected delight of taco suadero with fresh corn tortillas and crispy flautas, every bite was 🔥. And let’s talk about this spot: Cantina has earned solid praise here in Cincinnati for its fun atmosphere, great margaritas, and elevated Mexican street-food flavors with a full bar to match. They serve up a mix of classic tacos, tequila cocktails, and more casual eats in a trendy yet laid-back setting.
