I had a last-minute emergency and needed a replacement Roland snare drum ASAP, and Capital Music Factory absolutely came through. From the moment I walked in, they were incredibly accommodating, fast, and professional. They immediately helped me find exactly what I needed and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Huge shoutout to Giuseppe! He’s an awesome dude. Also Britt, the owner—both of them went above and beyond. They gave me a full tour of the store, told me all about the new Roland kits that are in development, and even let me sit down and play a few different setups so I could start thinking about my next upgrade. That kind of personal attention and passion for musicians is rare. You can really tell this is a smart, locally owned business that genuinely cares about the artists and players they serve. I’ll absolutely be coming back, and I highly recommend Capital Music Factory to any musician or band looking for great gear, real expertise, and top-tier service.
I bought my player piano 2 years ago from Capital Music Center in Austin because I never mastered playing myself. I live nearly 3 hours from Austin and am 83 years old so it was imperative they deliver and set it up, which they did. A few days ago I wanted it to play Christmas music so I called and a nice young man got me all fixed up. We will have beautiful carols to sing with and serenade our dinner! What a great place to do business with!
I almost purchased my Roland F701 piano on Amazon, but I am so glad I didn’t. Not only did Capital Music Center have the same price as Amazon, but they delivered and assembled it at no additional charge! Everyone I spoke with was attentive throughout the order process, and went above and beyond. Taxi was great, he even explained how to clean and care for the piano after he set it up. Additionally, they have an upgrade service where you can trade in your piano to them. The best thing is, they are a local small business in Austin. There is no reason to buy any musical instrument on Amazon, buy local and support this small business!
I had a great experience here. I’ve been looking for a digital piano and Michael was super helpful and informative about options and recommendations, and worked with me to get a great deal AND ship out of town. Shipping was quick and Taxi took great care to deliver and setup the piano and provide care instructions. I’m loving our piano and so happy with the whole experience. Recommend this shop 100% and love supporting a local business.
I walked out of Capital Music Center yesterday a very satisfied and happy customer. When I walked in, I was amazed by the variety of pianos they offered here! I walked in not knowing what to buy for my first digital piano as an intermediate piano player, but Michael was so helpful. To my knowledge, he is a piano teacher that works there and offers classes in the store. He helped me pick out a digital piano that would suit my needs (a Roland FP-30X). You can tell that he is not just truly passionate about piano, but he knows what he is talking about when it comes to piano mechanics. Very smart guy, thank you Michael! There was another staff member there, but I didn't get his name. But he was also extremely nice and helped me out with picking out headphones. Overall, if you are looking to buy a piano, whether it is acoustic or digital, I would highly reccommend this store. Amazing staff and amazing selection of instruments!
