Our family was visiting Austin from Michigan for several months and we enrolled our daughter. She loved everything about it! The teachers are so caring, the facility is clean, and it’s relaxing and fun waiting there and watching your child learn to swim. As soon as we got back to Michigan I enrolled our daughter in a local school but I found myself missing the Big Blue Swim School so much— it’s really one-of-a-kind!

We love Big Blue! The teachers are kind to our kiddos, and they are flexible when you have to cancel and reschedule. The facility is clean, classes are small, and they are responsive every time I have a question. They also communicate, and you can see, progress!

The staff at Big Blue Swim School are wonderful, nurturing and so supportive. They want to make sure you and your family have a great experience. Our four year old was very resistant to getting in the water and trying to find her comfort level. The team checked in and made adjustments to make sure we made progress. Ms. Abbey has been wonderful in gaining her trust and being patient with her. She is so sweet and always trying to make sure the kids feel seen and heard. We are very appreciative of the team at BB!

The water is HEATED! As a mom, putting my baby in swim lessons at just 5 months felt a little nerve-wracking but Big Blue Swim School has been such an amazing experience for us. My son is now 9 months old and he literally gets excited when we get in the water. He’s so HAPPY! We’ve worked with a few instructors, but our absolute favorite is Elise. She is incredible with our baby so gentle, attentive, and encouraging. You can tell she truly cares, and it makes such a difference in how comfortable and happy he is during lessons w. Her. She LOVES babies and it shows in her work ethic. The facility is always clean and welcoming, and the whole process feels very organized. We prefer smaller classes that aren’t so full so that baby isn’t too overwhelmed or overstimulated. Week day classes have been less busy we found. If I had one small wish, it would be for a swimsuit water extractor machine because it would make sense and make getting water out of swim wear easier. If you’re a parent thinking about swim lessons, I highly recommend Big Blue Swim School. It’s been 100% worth it for us. Also, if you’re new, mention my name when you sign up and you’ll get $50 off your first enrollment! My swimmer is Myles Hernandez.
