I went to this place on February 22nd 2026. I went there as my usual place for smog test has shut down his business. I asked the guy a question about the waiting time or how many cars ahead of me. He said if you are busy, don't come here. He threw the DMV paper on the ground. I told him to check the car if it can be done in 30 minutes. He came back with a fail results. I asked him why did it fail, and he proceeded to show me with a flash light a certain hose. I asked him what about it and he said it has to be replaced. Can you show me the failed section of the hose? He answered with you can't see it. The mechanic will understand. I asked him how the check engine light didn't come on if the hose was clogged as you claimed and he said that I can't judge his work. I asked him for the photo he took with the defected hose and he refused to show me the picture as he claimed that I don't trust him. I paid and left. I took the car to another station and it passed. He just wasted 30 minutes of my time and $50.
