Nice winery just outside Lincoln. Have a good variety of sweet and semi-sweet. They have bands and trivia on Fridays. Have some small food plate options.
Highly recommend! We went for the chocolate and wine pairing for Valentine’s Day, and it was such a great experience. Delicious wine, ample seating (inside and outside), and beautiful view. The service was attentive and kind as well. If you’re a fan of sweet wine, definitely the place to check out 🥰 will be back!
First Winery I've been to and I was really impressed. Late fall so nothing is growing but I would love to see it during the season with all the vines green and growing. Beautiful view around the area, wonderful relaxing atmosphere, loved patio with the heaters available. Not being a Wine person, I found a couple bottles of Red's that I really enjoyed and ended up purchasing a couple before leaving. If you're into winery's and tasting, be sure to add Capital View as one of your stops.
Absolutely lovely winery and tasting/special event venue. Fantastic panoramic views all the way to the Capitol. Good photo-ops. A good variety of wines. Tasty too. Clean and neat tables inside. Plenty of seating with tables on a covered porch. Large sheltered outdoor seating area with chairs and tables. Bathrooms were clean and neat. When we were there they'd just harvested the grapes and the fabric that had protected them up until harvest were still visible. It was good to see that they're properly protecting the grapes to make good wine.
Well thanks to this place I know what kind of wine I like. The people here were so nice and took their time to explain everything. The wine was great too. They have good outdoor seating options. The only issue I had with this place was the food they served with the wine. We were expecting some good food and cheese to to with the wine but all they had was store bought items.
