I went to Car Audio Engineers to upgrade the mediocre stock stereo in my Kia Stinger. Jonathan had me listen to a few different speakers and subs in their showroom and we came up with a plan, replace the front and rear door speakers, add an amp with DSP, and put a sub in the trunk. The system sounded awesome straight out of the shop. After breaking everything in for a couple months I brought it back for a few small tweaks and now the sound is perfect - tight punchy bass (kick drum sounds fantastic), warm open midrange, clean highs, and focused soundstage. I find myself sitting in the driveway listening after I get home because it sounds so good. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience trusting Jonathan for the sale and installation of a dash cam in my Honda Accord. Also received great follow-up care in repositioning front cam, after shortcomings with my original preference emerged. Great business!

Based on a recommendation from another installer in the Sacramento area, I took my car to Car Audio Engineers to have an ALP (Anti-Laser Priority) system installed. The shop was clean, neat, and well-organized, which immediately gave me confidence in their work. The installation estimate I received was very reasonable, especially compared to other installers in the greater Sacramento area. Jonathan and his team did an outstanding job with the installation—there wasn’t a single scratch on the interior or exterior of my car. Everything was properly aligned and functioned exactly as expected. Given their professionalism and attention to detail, I would highly recommend Jonathan and his staff for any installation needs, whether it’s an ALP system, dash camera, stereo, or other vehicle electronics.

I have a 2015 Silverado and the OEM stereo until was... sad. Shopped around for a year trying to decide which replacement to do, installed a Chinese tablet one and ended up returning it because it sucked. Read reviews on Car Audio Engineers and wanted to see what options they had. Felt comfortable right away with what Jon was saying as far as options so went with it. It was more expensive but it was worth it, it really works. I've never had Android Auto before and now I see what the fuss is about. Got the Sony XAV-8500 10" and it looks great, huge upgrade from my stock 4" screen. It's also super responsive and connects to my phone immediately. Also had them install some lights since the cabin lights in my truck are super dim. Great shop and I'm glad I was able to find them. Will be going back for some other installs in the future.

Bought a Jeep Gladiator and the stock audio is horrible in it. Full volume was weak and no bass whatsoever. I was recommended by a friend to check out CAE and i don't regret it one second. I went to the shop and talked to Jonathan and he was great to work with and very knowledgeable about all the car audio stuff. He gave me his recommendations on audio and the companies he likes to use and i never heard about the brands, but after hearing the speakers i am glad i went with them! High end audio equipment with the best sound quality! Go with his recommendations he definitely knows his car audio! We went with Blam Audio and swapped out all the speakers. Used Helix Amp and DSP. I bought my own JL audio stealth box made for the gladiators (it was the last one in stock)(on backorder everywhere). Had I nit found that stealth box i would have had a custom one made by Jonathan. I had seen some of the other vehicles he had in the shop and the custom boxes looked great! Also swapped out the small 7in screen to a 10in stinger unit. I wanted to be able to adjust the bass on the fly so a knob control was also installed under steering wheel. All in all if you want your audio done right and i mean installed proper using quality parts and quality install, then CAE is where you want to take it! I will let the pictures of the install do the talking!
