Our dog had a sudden unexpected negative shift in health at midnight in the middle of a snow storm. All of the staff we interacted with were courteous and accommodating. The doctor did a great job informing us of the situation we were dealing with and what our options were, and gave us space to decide what to do. Ultimately they helped us carry our girl over the rainbow bridge with dignity and respect. It's not an easy position for anyone and we're grateful they were there when needed.

Early 11/23/25 I had to say goodbye to my cat Punkin. The staff at the care center were amazing from the minute I walked through the door. They allowed me as much time as needed to say my final goodbye.Today I received her nose and paw prints, plus 2 tiny bags of her fur.

We had a successful TPLO surgery for my dog at the Care Center, performed by surgeon Eric Rowe. It’s been a challenging eight weeks of recovery, but my dog now has a “new” leg, and we’re so grateful for his skill and the excellent outcome. The veterinary assistants were incredibly warm and loving, making her wag her tail happily even when she wasn’t feeling her best. The price range was moderate — not the cheapest option, but also not the most expensive — and absolutely worth the quality of care we received.

Positives: Everyone at Care Center was kind and transparent about costs. We generally had a pleasant experience with the staff and can tell everyone loves and owns animals. The vets seem knowledgeable and communicate without belittling or candy coating. Negatives: Everything has a price tag. We were encouraged to get an echo and speak with the cardiologist, even though my cat's test results suggested cancer. Veterinary care isn't an exact science, but I can't help feeling frustrated by this, since we communicated we would likely only be able to afford one more test. $700 later, we learned her heart is fine, and several more expensive tests would be required to diagnose her. If we wanted a phone consultation with the oncologist without additional tests to discuss likely outcomes, we were quoted $240. This is confusing to me because two of the three vets that have worked with our cat within the past 72 hours already talked to the oncologist, so it's not like they would need to be brought up to speed. I recognize that no one at Care Center works for free (nor should they) and that the vets and specialists went through a lot of training to be able to do what they do. I just am beginning to feel nickel and dimed. Talking to the oncologist for 10 minutes about a case they've already been clued in on shouldn't cost $240 on top of the already $2000 we've spent at Care Center for the initial stabilization and testing.

We came home to my 17 yo cat meowing in pain and dragging her back leg. Knowing her age, and prognosis with quality of life, we knew we were looking at compassionate euthanasia. With it being a Sunday I knew I'd have to travel to an emergency vet. I called and was told they could help. They were very open with their pricing. I didn't wait at all when I arrived. All the staff were incredible. They were kind, compassionate, and caring. They treated us with respect and my Gypsy's final hour was calm and peaceful. They made sure I understood the process and gave me as much time as I wanted. I elected to bring my pet home, they wrapped her neatly in a box with a pad inside. I was given paw and nose prints as well. As awful as it was, we recieved excellent and compassionate.
