This is a lovely place. They stock unusual and interesting wines. It's got a terrific atmosphere and they do some great food. The new wine shop tacked on has a small range of wines but, again, these are carefully selected to be interesting and enjoyable

A wonderful experience. It helped it was a hot sunny evening, but you forget you're in Stokes Croft and not in continental Europe. We had super friendly service with the best food and wine I've had for some time. The oysters and wine selection are worth coming here for on their own, but the surrounding small plates were exceptional bar none.

We finally made it, and it was better than expected! Carmen Street Wine is a beautiful spot tucked away from the busy and bustling Stoke Croft area. As the name suggests, they serve wine and great simple food. But we came for the breakfast bun and coffee, and it was glorious. They offer two different breakfast buns. We opted for the meaty one: a soft bun with a perfectly fried egg, homemade hash brown, and bacon, all topped with a delicious plum ketchup. They also serve Bloody Marys, and I saw a cheeky Spanish omelette making its way to the bar, likely for lunch tapas and wine hour. Go and try it! Enjoy sitting outside with sunny views.

Fantastic new wine bar! Great service, food, wines and vibes! I love Caper and Cure and now Giles has created a brilliant sister venue round the corner. Love it!

A tucked away spot for exemplary coffee and bacon (and egg) sandwiches on a Saturday morning. We reckon our favourite in the city, and there's stiff competition. Super chill vibe, can't wait to return in the evening for wine and nibbles.
