Rich and his team went from bidding the job to painting our whole kitchen's worth of cabinets and 2 bedrooms in less than one week. The painting itself started Friday and was fully wrapped on Monday. The painting is second to none and the services was exceptional. I would recommend Carter Custom Painting to anyone looking for cabinets or walls to be painted.

Rich and his helper custom painted my kitchen cabinets in March. The job was very professional, prompt, and timely, with no hitches. I've now lived with the painted cabinets for two months while subjecting them to the usual wear and tear, and there have been no issues at all. I highly recommend using this company for your painting needs. Before and after photos are included with this review for comparison.

Rich and Carter Custom Painting did a fantastic job on our house in St. Louis city. They were very competitively priced, worked fast and efficiently, finished earlier than expected, and brought a real touch of art to our home project. We were having our kitchen remodeled at the same time that we brought Rich and his crew in to paint. The renovation opened up the kitchen to the dining room and living room, so we wanted to carry one color all the way through. Our house is a bungalow on The Hill and was built about 120 years ago, so it has some stucco walls and nooks and crannies that can't be easy to paint. Not only did Rich and his crew do an excellent job of painting the walls and ceiling, they also whitewashed a stone fireplace. One of the reasons we hired them was because Rich is also an artist who paints murals, so in addition to the normal paint job, Rich also painted a mural to highlight an interesting curved wall in our living room/dining room. We just gave him a rough idea from a picture we found of some midcentury modern designs, and Rich was able to make it happen in just a few hours. After they were done, they cleaned up everything. Rich was incredibly laid back in what could have been a tense situation as the kitchen remodel was still being finished while the painting was starting. Our house isn't a big space and Rich and his crew navigated around all the construction like the pros they are. We couldn't be more pleased with the result and will absolutely hire Rich and Carter Custom Painting for our next project.

My husband and I had the cabinets painted at our daughter’s house. It is a fairly large kitchen with Formica cabinets which would be very costly to replace with new cabinets; however, we were turned down by a few companies that did not want to take on this project of painting Formica. We searched until we found Carter Custom Painting, which had many good reviews. Rich gave us a fair bid saying that he has painted many other Formica cabinets and that the jobs turned out great. So we hired him for the job. Rich and Mike were very timely, polite, and professional. They finished the entire job in two days. They were very careful and meticulous in their work, installed the hardware back on, and they cleaned up well afterwards when they were all finished. The entire kitchen is completely transformed by painting them white and it was way less costly than replacing all those cabinets. The 1990’s style cabinets look new and more updated. My husband and I would highly recommend Carter Custom Painting for the job if you are thinking about remodeling your old cabinets without spending an arm and a leg to replace them. It’s a great alternative to saving money and getting great results. The pictures sow before and after. The after pictures show with a new countertop but do not show the appliances put back in place yet, a toe kick, or a back splash which are the next step to completing this kitchen. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful! What a difference a little paint makes!
