We were recently referred to CASE for emergency services for our Jack. The staff were so kind and compassionate. The Dr and her assistant took time to explain what was happening, answer our questions, and provide options for our sweet boy. All of the staff that helped us were just AMAZING.

It has taken me a long time to work up the will to write this. But, I feel it is necessary to do so. Last year (February 2025), my wife and I brought our 4-month old kitten in on the recommendation of our primary vet. He was diagnosed with panleukopenia. For starters, we were left in the exam room for over an hour with zero communication or updates. The first person who walked in was not the vet himself. Rather, it was an assistant holding a quote for 3 days of inpatient “care” totaling over $9,000. My wife and I didn’t have that money (obviously). We sent her away and asked to speak to the vet. About another hour went by before the vet finally walked in. He recommended we euthanize our kitten or start the inpatient care. Inpatient care had already been quoted to us at a rate of more than $3,000 per day. He informed us there was no guarantee 3 days (or any amount of time) would be enough to save our cat. He was steering us towards euthanizing. I asked about the price of the medication, so my wife and I could try outpatient care. Instead of giving me a number, he proceeded to steer us towards euthanasia. After arguing back and forth for about 10 minutes, he finally coughed up the price of meds ($500). After he finally agreed to release our cat to us, it took about another 2 hours before we had our cat back. I don’t like to assign motives to people, but this next part feels sinister. We were given our cat and the “full” amount of meds needed. Our cat needed 10 days’ worth. I paid $500. Fast forward to 5 days later (Super Bowl Sunday 2025), our cat’s meds run out. The meds he needed to beat panleukopenia, a disease fatal to young kittens. We were giving him the correct dosages. I called CASE and informed them we ran out 5 days early. They conceded we’d only received half of the required medication. I left our Super Bowl party and drove down to CASE in a hurry. At the very least, they gave me the meds without a fight. After two weeks of outpatient care from my wife and myself, our kitten recovered! Benny is a strong, happy, and healthy cat now. He beat the odds and triumphed despite CASE’s resistance. I have forgiven the staff at CASE because they know not what they do. However, avoid this place. If your pet has an emergency, go elsewhere. They will try to milk you for every penny you have (or don’t, you may have to finance). They will put up a fight if you want to care for your pet without spending $3,000 a day. If you succeed in convincing them to allow you to try outpatient care on your own pet, they may withhold lifesaving medicine. CASE, stop trying to influence emotionally-compromised people to drop thousands of dollars on inpatient “care”. Don’t put up a fight when they ask to buy the meds and try outpatient care. Communicate promptly and with compassion. Pets some of God’s beautiful creations. They’re members of our families. Show them and their owners the respect and dignity they are owed by virtue of their Creator. Now, enjoy some photos of Benny, our Miracle kitty.

We were transferred to CASE with our Goldendoodle as our vet needed her stabilized before attempting a surgery. We saw Dr. Cristina Winslow DVM and she was fantastic. She advised doing an ultra sound to confirm the assumed organ affected and assess the extent of the tumors. It turned out to be an excellent advice as we learned about that the issue was from another organ failing, inoperable based on the extent of the issue, and therefore her advice saved our dog from a painful and costly surgery that would not have helped. Dr. Window was very compassionate and we can’t thank her enough for her help navigating this difficult moment.

Terrible staff. They don't communicate. They keep you waiting for hours without updates. Went in today and they failed to tell us that had three critical patients ahead of us. Instead, they made us wait 2 hours to tell us that. They did this to charge us an "examination fee". They don't really care about the animals health. They just want to make as much profit as possible. To make things worse they were going to make us wait another 3 to 4 hours for xrays. We decided to take your pet to another hospital, which turned out to be a good idea. This place still charged us for "the examination fee" they are a bunch of vampires. They lack communication skills. The doctor Kayla was useless. This place is a waste of time. SKIP THIS PLACE!
