Went for a wine tasting session with Harris and really enjoyed it. He was really attentive, knowledgeable and funny. It was really nice of him to switch up one of the wines for us as well had never tried orange wine. Definetly found a couple new favourites to drink. Gave me a new appreciation for wine types and which ones are suited to which foods as well. Will definetly visit again.
Me and two of my friends went for a wine tasting here with the nibbles. We got to try 4 very different types of wine and our expert talked us through the stories of the wine and their grapes, the aromas and the tasting notes. They went through what food pairing each wine suited, the temperature to drink them and how long to let them breath. For some complete novices it was a really enjoyable and educational evening. Even went away with a few bottles.
Love to sit with a bottle of wine and deluxe platter at Cavavin. It’s nice to sit and enjoy a conversation without music blasting. They have a vast choice of wines and spirits to choose from.
Found this gem of a place on a day out with my friend. Had the wine flight each and didn’t disappoint - thoroughly enjoyed the wine choices. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff / owners. Relaxed atmosphere with background music not overbearing. Will definitely be on our radar for future visits.
Fab spot to enjoy some wine and not too loud to have a conversation. Loads of different options , super friendly and helpful staff. Have wine flights which is a good way to sample more options
