I've known the owner for 40+ years. He's a genius. And because of that, he's a very busy guy. Getting stuff repaired here is worth it, but patience is mandatory.

The absolute best audio repair shop I've come across. He assessed, repaired, and gave me a good price for my amp, compare to other shops they were too expensive. I will be seeing this shop for on.

Thank you Boa and Centek!!! So amazing to have my decades old Technics turntable repaired. Was worth the wait as the necessary part(s) were sourced and then the time for repair and testing. The Ottawa area is very fortunate to have Boa and Centek’s expertise in the area. Thank you Boa!

Some of these reviews are missing context. Could communication be better? Sure, but Centek is 2-3 people repairing all of Ottawa’s vintage electronics, they are taking on an intense workload. It is a treasure that Ottawa has these extremely talented technicians that are now few and far between. I am personally very grateful. They did an incredible job fixing my 50 year old Sony Reel to Reel to full functionality and they are the only ones in the city that could. I could not be happier.

Bao is amazing - I had a vintage turntable from 1986 that was broken during a move and he repaired it. I didn’t have a timeline so I dropped it off and he called me about a month later saying it was fixed and ready to go. He’s so personable and will do everything he can to make sure you’re satisfied! Thank you!!!
