They do close for lunch and will lock doors early so if your cat in on the brink of death and you need desperate help dont go here my cat died in the parking lot cause they wont even answer the phone during lunch I get it you need a break but a pet hospital out of all places should understand the importance of being aware emergencies might happen i looked at the reviews and read some saying they took emergencies and I got there as fast as possible got there and the doors were locked with a written sign saying they were out lunch

Truly the best vet we've had in a long time. It's been great relief knowing our pets are in good hands. She has been treating our cat Louie. We're very hopeful that with her help we will have several more years with him even though he is dealing with kidney disease. Just recently some kittens we are fostering got sick. She was so quick to get them in and offer them the absolute best care. She even seen one kitten twice in one day. I must mention all of the staff have been wonderful! We couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr. Ruiz and staff!!!

I’ve been coming here for almost eight years and can honestly say that Dr. Ruiz is a one of the best vets I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She has an incredible ability to sense what’s going on with my dog — and never over rotates or orders needless procedures or tests. Because of this, she’s also super affordable. Best of all, Dr. Ruiz has a calm and rational bedside manner (even when I’m worrying too much), which makes her great with our nervous senior. Also, a huge shout out to her lovely staff. Paula at the front desk has gotten us in quickly when things are urgent and does a great job keeping the wait times down. The techs are always really kind too!

I met Dr. Ruiz 30 years ago when she started in this location. She grew up in the central city and as a veterinarian, she has cared for 1000s of critters in the center of town, including many of mine. She is kind, compassionate and competent, and I think the world of her. Her front office staff have been there for years and years. I appreciate that she sees the value in long term retention of employees. 👍 Dr. Ruiz’s method of running her practice is old school. Can you buy specialty dog/cat food there? Of course. Do you HAVE to? No. This office sees and cares for our beloved animals. We are never pressured into treatments, services or goods that we don’t want or need. I, for one, am thankful for the calm, no pressure atmosphere.
