Chateau Ste. Michelle wine is one of the wines I do drink so I was really excited to come to the winery. This is my first time here in this winery. This winery has a beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The inside is beautifully decorated and the outside has beautiful greenery. We opted to go in one of their igloos. The igloo was very cozy and warm. We got the package that came with the charcuterie board. We loved all the cheeses and especially love the jam. We were totally disappointed that the jam is not offered for sale because it was really good. The wine is very good. Although I am not a fan of their Chardonnay. But to be fair I just am not a fan of any Chardonnay. Our host/server Jonah was very nice and he made us feel very welcome. Oh and if you want souvenirs they offer plenty of merchandise and of course taking wine home is a must.
A beautiful vineyard with lots of tasting spots and unique areas to explore. One of the highlights was the igloo-style tasting rooms, which made the experience feel special and different. They also offer golf carts to take you to your tasting spot, which is a fun and convenient touch. Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and genuinely happy to help with anything you need, which really enhances the experience. The surrounding nature is gorgeous, and it’s a lovely place to walk around and take in the scenery after enjoying some wine. A relaxing and memorable place to spend an afternoon.
I had the chance to visit Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville on September 25th, 2024, for the Orville Peck concert, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, it still ended up being one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in a long time. I went with my friend Derek, and from the moment we arrived, the venue had such a warm, excited energy—even with the steady downpour. I wasn’t expecting to spend nearly $200 on blankets and a rain jacket, but with how much it was raining, it quickly became part of the adventure. The staff handled everything with grace and good humor, helping people stay comfortable and keeping things running smoothly despite the conditions. The crowd’s attitude made it even better—everyone seemed determined to enjoy themselves no matter what. The winery grounds were beautiful, even under the grey clouds and rain. Chateau Ste. Michelle has this classic, elegant atmosphere that feels special in any weather. The lush lawns, gorgeous buildings, and thoughtful layout make it the kind of place where you can’t help but settle in and enjoy the moment. And once Orville Peck took the stage, the rain completely faded into the background. I absolutely love him, and seeing him perform live in such a unique outdoor setting felt almost surreal. His voice, the energy of the crowd, the music drifting through the cool night air—it all came together in a way I’ll never forget. Sharing the night with my friend Derrick, made it even better. We laughed, huddled under the blanket, and took in every moment. By the end, I realized the rain actually made the concert feel more intimate and unforgettable. Chateau Ste. Michelle truly delivers a magical experience, rain or shine. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Had an AMAZING experience lunch here yesterday. Would highly recommend. Good was great and so was our host. I also saw goo goo dolls here and loved the venue. They were very organized getting people in and you could bring your own wine purchased onsite. No need a screw top…they have wine barrels with screws inside to help open your bottles. Food choices inside the concert were also great. Overall great venue to spend a couple of days.
Chateau Ste. Michelle is such a beautiful winery to visit. The grounds are charming and make for a really enjoyable experience, especially if you’re looking for a fun outdoor activity on the weekend. While the winery itself isn’t huge, it has a cozy and welcoming feel that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time. The wines are very good, and the setting makes them taste even better. It’s the kind of place where you can sip and take your time without feeling rushed. The atmosphere is definitely one of the highlights—calm, scenic, and perfect for spending a few hours with friends or family. The only downside is that seating can be a bit limited, so it may take a little effort to find a spot, especially on busy days. But overall, it’s a great stop if you’re in the area and want to enjoy good wine in a beautiful setting.
